10 William Street

One trend I’ve noticed is that the less signage a bar has, the more popular it seems to be. Love Tilly Devine, Ching-a-lings and Shady Pines Saloon have all worked this well and now there’s 10 William Street.

Run by the people behind Fratelli Paradiso, this is a wine bar in a converted storefront that serves Italian-style food. The feel is stripped down and simple – there are small tables up the front, white walls, naked bulbs, chalkboards with specials on them, a counter you can perch at and white tiles behind the bar with black texta marks on them.
